Before booking a place, can you see the hotel and the place where the dog will be staying and meet the people who will be taking care of the dog?
You are most welcome. At the same time, we ask that you arrange a meeting in advance.
Can you bring your dog to the hotel before making a reservation, so that he gets to know the new place and the owners?
You can, and even should, if possible. For a dog, the first stay in an unknown place and under the care of strangers can be stressful. A pre-familiarization walk allows the dog to „get used to” the place. He has time to look around, smell everything, and can also run freely around the hotel grounds. After such a walk, it is much easier for him to stay later, because not everything is unfamiliar to him and he has good associations with the place.
How do I arrange an introductory walk and how long does the walk last?
You can arrange a familiarization walk with us by e-mail – hotelpsigoda@gmail.com. Such a walk lasts about an hour, we arrange around 11:00 and around 18:00 (in the autumn-winter period with short days only at 11:00) and takes place on our premises, a large part of which is a meadow. Therefore, we kindly ask you to dress appropriately, especially in the autumn-winter season.
Is it necessary to arrange an introductory walk before bringing the dog?
Of course, it happens that it is not possible to meet in advance. This is not a mandatory condition for accepting a dog into a hotel. However, we strongly encourage you to arrange such a meeting. It makes it easier for the dog to stay in a strange place, under the care of strange people. Thanks to the familiarization walk, the place is already a little familiar, the dog has pleasant associations with it and the stress is reduced. Such a familiarization walk also helps us a lot – thanks to it, we get to know the dog, and a live conversation is much more fruitful than even the best filled out questionnaire. We have had carers with dogs from Łódź, Lublin, the Tri-City and even Zielona Góra come to us for such walks – for which we give them a big shout out. Arrival from Warsaw or the surrounding area should therefore be even more possible.
What are the hours for bringing and picking up a dog (i.e. how long is a dog hotel stay)?
Due to the daily schedule, we ask that you bring and pick up dogs between 10:00-20:00. If necessary, we can sometimes take or give dogs between 08:00-10:00 and 20:00-22:00. However, in such a case, please make an appointment for a specific time in advance. We usually have a lot of dogs under our care and in the morning, when we are busy feeding, giving medicines, taking them for morning walks, the additional task of accepting a new guest is a problem for us.
BEFORE 8:00 AM AND AFTER 10:00 PM IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO DELIVERY OR COLLECTION OF A DOG.
When settling hotel charges, we take into account the number of nights the dog will spend at the hotel.
How many people take care of the dogs in the hotel?
During the year, our guests are looked after by at least three people (Ewa, Bogdan and a full-time carer). During periods of increased activity (vacation, holidays) we work in four. We employ permanent full-time employees, so your pets are looked after by people we know and who have knowledge and experience in working with dogs.
What does the daily schedule look like?
We start the day around 7am. All the dogs go for short morning walks, get breakfast (and morning medicines if they take them) and rest after breakfast in their rooms. Then the daily activities begin: long walks and games in the area in the company of their caregivers. This usually lasts until 5pm-6pm. Then it’s time for dinner (evening medicines) and rest. Around 9pm-9.30pm we start short evening walks.
How many walks do the dogs go on and what are these walks like?
Each dog goes for at least 3 walks a day. Morning and evening walks are usually shorter, although this depends on the weather, breed and condition of the dogs. For example, brachycephalic and older dogs go for longer walks in the morning and later in the evening when the heat subsides, and during the day they only go for short walks for hygiene. The dogs can stay in the entire, well-fenced, over 3 hectares area. There are ditches with water (and pools in the summer) in which the dogs love to play.
Do all the dogs go for walks together?
We believe that every dog needs contact with other representatives of its species. But we also know that creating stable and safe large dog groups takes time. That is why dogs go out in selected small groups, so that all participants of the walk feel comfortable and safe. And everyone can easily ask for help and support from their guardians. We also accept dogs that have problems in relationships with other dogs and such dogs go out for walks individually.
What should a dog be provided with when arriving at a hotel?
When arriving at the hotel, the dog should have its own fabric or leather collar or possibly a harness. It is also necessary to provide the dog’s health booklet with current vaccinations and information about deworming. The dog should be protected with flea and tick products. If the protection against ticks expires during the dog’s stay at the hotel, the dog will be protected by us, and the fee for the product will be added to the cost of the dog’s stay. We also ask you to bring something that smells of home – preferably a blanket that we can spread on the bed/mattress for the dog. These are included in the room equipment, so it is not necessary to bring a bed, unless the dog has some very favorites. If the dog is a fan of water and mud baths, a blanket from you will make our life easier, because it is much easier to wash than the entire bed.
Do I need to bring food and bowls?
Since we are not able to stock every type of food available on the market, we ask that you bring the food that your dog eats at home. For most dogs, a sudden change in food is not recommended and can cause stomach problems. We have fridges and a freezer in the hotel, so if your dog is fed cooked food or BARF/RAW, we also ask that you bring the appropriate amount of portions for their stay. When determining the amount of food needed, please take into account that our dogs spend a lot of time outdoors, walking and playing, and sometimes even swimming. And therefore they may have a bigger appetite. Therefore, it is worth bringing a little more portions than usually needed. Additional portions are also useful when, for example, your return from holiday is delayed and the dog has to stay an extra day. There is no need to bring bowls with you, they are provided in each room.
Should I bring my dog’s bed?
If your dog is particularly attached to his bed, you can take it with you. But there is no need for that – each room is equipped with a comfortable bed with a mattress or just a mattress. For our part, we suggest that a few days before bringing your dog, you put a blanket in his bed and then bring it with you. Such a thing that smells like home will definitely increase the dog’s comfort and sense of security.
Should I bring toys for my dog?
If the dog has a toy that it can’t live without, then of course we ask you to take it. However, it is worth considering that the dog in the hotel plays and walks in a very large area, in the company of other dogs and there is a possibility that such a toy will simply get lost or destroyed by an overly energetic friend. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the favorite toy will definitely return home.
The dog needs medication, is it possible for him to receive it at the hotel?
Absolutely. If the administration of medication involves administering tablets or other preparations that do not require the actions of a licensed technician/veterinarian, this does not increase the cost of the dog’s stay. However, if the dog requires the care of a person with veterinary training, additional costs are agreed individually. Please bring with you all the medications/supplements taken by the dog along with a detailed schedule of the hours of administration and the amount of preparations administered. It is worth considering additional doses of medication – sometimes the return from vacation can be extended, sometimes the flight is canceled or delayed and the dog has to stay longer, then a reserve of medication is useful.
Why do I have to leave contact details for my dog’s vet?
A dog is a living and feeling being. There is always a possibility that despite the best care, it may feel bad. In a situation where we see any disturbing symptoms, we call a veterinarian who cooperates with us or take the dog to the clinic. In such cases, it is good if we have the possibility to contact the veterinarian who normally takes care of the dog, especially in the case of dogs with chronic diseases or undergoing some treatment.
My dog can be aggressive and distrustful of strangers. Can he be accepted at a hotel?
We also accept „difficult” dogs to our hotel. For the last 12 years, we have been taking care of various dogs, including so-called aggressive ones. Thanks to our experience and knowledge, which we are constantly updating, we are able to behave in such a way as not to provoke aggressive behavior in the dog or to cope in a crisis situation. Of course, in the case of such dogs, an introductory walk is ESSENTIAL. Regardless of whether the dog has problems with other dogs or with people, we guarantee that it will go for walks like any of our canine guests. We will simply adjust its activity to the scale of the problem.
How can I find out what is happening with my pet?
You can always call us (between 10:00 and 20:00). On our hotel FB profile we also post photos of your dog’s stay with us (after obtaining your prior consent).
Do you accept stray dogs?
Unfortunately no. For many reasons and past experience we currently only accept dogs that have owners.
Do you accept other animals (cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.)?
Unfortunately, we do not accept other species of animals.

The deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the dog’s arrival. If the deposit has not been paid, payment in the above amounts applies if the reservation is canceled less than 14 days before the date. When settling hotel charges, we take into account the number of nights the dog will spend at the hotel.
Are seasonal prices applicable? During which periods?
Our hotel prices are fixed all year round. In the high season, i.e. 18/20 December – 6/8 January, the winter break period in the Mazovian province, May Day, Easter, 1 June – 30 September, individual discounts do not apply and payment for the entire period for which the room was booked is required, regardless of whether it is vacated earlier or occupied later than indicated in the reservation.
If my dog stays at the hotel for less than the booked period, will I have to pay for that time?
Payment for the full booking period is required if changes are made less than 7 days before the dog’s arrival or departure date.
Can I get a discount when booking more than one room?
Of course, you can always discuss this matter individually, but during high season individual discounts do not apply.
Are there any services I can't pay for by bank transfer?
You cannot use a bank transfer to pay for external services (e.g. veterinary services or purchasing medicines) ordered by you but performed by other business entities than the hotel, performed on their own account. We settle these payments from our own private funds and ask for these funds to be returned in cash based on the presented invoices from other entities.
